“I learned about several real-life cases and practical experiences in Business Continuity. I identified some differences between Business Continuity as presented by the Institute standards and how it is actually implemented in my workplace, as well as several common points and similarities. The instructor had a steady and calm voice, maintained our interest, and encouraged active participation by asking us questions. Overall the course was very good indeed.”
“The BCLE 2000 course gave me a broader perspective on how business continuity connects with the full spectrum of enterprise security and organizational resilience. The teaching was practical and engaging, and the discussions brought valuable perspectives that I could relate directly to challenges we manage day to day considering operational risks, dependencies, crisis management, and continuity across full scope of enterprise security management.”
“It gave me a broader view, understanding, and perspective on the Business Continuity subject. It proved that BCM is interdisciplinary and that it affects whole of a given company's organization from top to bottom. Like other ITSM areas it is a responsibility shared by everyone. Especially given the geopolitical climate. The course was led in a comprehensive and approachable fashion and the tutor not only served as an authority but also created a friendly learning environment. The theoretical part was neatly organized into subjects and the pdf material distributed supported the practical course well. I enjoyed the exercises that followed the tutor's lectures and the collaborative effort, it is crucial in BCM. Additionally, the real-life examples of companies that failed to follow BCM gave a vivid picture of how essential on every level is to follow Business Continuity guidelines to ensure a company's integrity and cohesiveness.”
