Sustainability

Built to last, responsibly

Sustainability and resilience share a logic: both are about enduring well. This page sets out how we run our own firm, how we contribute beyond paid work, and why it matters to a practice whose product is endurance.

Sustainability

What sustainability means at Resilience Guard

Sustainability at Resilience Guard means running the firm the way we advise clients to run theirs: able to endure. That covers a light environmental footprint, people who advance on merit, knowledge shared with the wider field, and governance that would hold up under audit.

Our social responsibility commitments live on this page. Contribution to society was never a separate idea from sustainability; it is one of its four channels. The discipline we practise protects organisations and the people and communities that depend on them, so we treat resilience itself as a public good and extend it beyond paid engagements, into knowledge, mentoring and support for the field.

One commitment, four channels

How our environmental, social and governance work connects, and why it matters to a firm whose product is endurance.

How sustainability connects at Resilience Guard One commitment to enduring well flows into four channels: environment, people, society and the field, and governance. Together they produce client trust, credibility with regulators, strong people and an enduring firm. One commitment: enduring well Run the firm with the discipline we bring to client resilience ENVIRONMENT Light footprint Purposeful travel Digital first delivery Lean operations PEOPLE Merit and balance Equal opportunity Fair progression Respect and safety SOCIETY AND FIELD Shared knowledge Publish, teach, mentor Research and standards Beyond paying clients GOVERNANCE Standards we advise Ethics and conduct FADP and GDPR Independent challenge WHY IT MATTERS TO US Clients trust a firm that lives what it advises. Regulators and partners see governance in practice, not on paper. Our people grow in a firm built to endure, and endurance is what we sell.

Where we act

Environment

A light footprint, by design

We keep the footprint of a boutique. Travel happens when presence changes the outcome, delivery is digital first, and our operations stay lean. We publish principles we actually apply, not numbers we cannot stand behind.

People

Merit, balance and respect

Talent advances on its merits. We maintain equal opportunity in recruitment, pay and progression, and a workplace free from harassment, with clear routes to raise concerns. Our gender equality commitment is stated on its own page because it deserves one.

Society and the field

Resilience as a public good

We publish, teach and mentor so that good resilience practice reaches beyond those who can pay for it. We support research and take part in the standards work and communities that raise the discipline, and we carry the same duty of care into the communities where we operate.

Governance

The standards we advise, applied to ourselves

A code of conduct that binds everyone, compliance with the Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR, and an independent Advisory Board with licence to challenge us. Our governance page connects the full framework.
