DRI Cyber Resilience Management

Cyber resilience for the business continuity professional

Description

Organisations today face numerous cyberthreats and no one is immune. From DDoS attacks to ransomware, there are countless opportunities for hackers to cause massive disruption, all of which require a response that will involve you. That's why this course is an absolute must. More than just another statement of the problem, Cyber Resilience for the Business Continuity Professional is an intense, information-packed experience that will give you an understanding of how to address cyber disruptions within a business continuity framework.

You'll discover how business continuity and cyber security must integrate within every organisation, using the five elements of cyber resilience: prepare/identify, protect, detect, respond and recover.

Collectively, these concepts and the resulting action plans will help you to develop a strategy to effectively respond to unforeseen events and get your organisation back up and running as quickly as possible. These two traditionally separate functions must work together and with this course, you'll be able to take steps to make that happen in your organisation. You'll be able to streamline well-coordinated identification and response to attacks or data breaches, minimise costs, protect the organisation's reputation and will have the professional advantage of bringing the most current information and skills to the table.

This course is worth 32 Continuing Education Activity Points towards recertification.

Duration: 4.5 days (Four full days of instruction from 8.30am to 5pm, followed by a half-day cyber resilience examination from 8.30am to 12pm).
