Code of Conduct
Confidentiality

Resilience Guard is committed to acting with integrity in all its dealings with potential, current and past clients, both in terms of normal commercial confidentiality and the protection of all personal information received in the course of providing business services. Our consultants extend the same high standards to all our partners, suppliers and associates.

Ethics

We always conduct ourselves honestly and honourably in business and expect our clients and suppliers to do the same. Our consultancy services, advice, strategic assistance and the knowledge imparted through our training, take proper account of ethical considerations, together with the protection and enhancement of our clients'reputations.

Duty of care

Our actions and advice will always conform to applicable laws. Additionally, we believe that all businesses and organisations, including this consultancy, should avoid adversely affecting the human rights of people in the organisations we work with, their local community and the well-being of society at large.

Conflicts of interest

Due to the sensitive nature of our consultancy services, we are careful to avoid providing a service to clients' direct competitors and try to avoid any dealings with competitor companies in general, without first gaining permission to do so from our current client.

Contracts

Our contract will usually take the form of a detailed proposal that includes aims, activities, costs, timescales and deliverables. We strive to accommodate our clients'contractual requirements, particularly in situations where an external funding provider requires specific parameters and controls.

Fees

Our fees are always competitive for the high quality, tailored, specialist consultancy service we provide. Accordingly, we do not offer arbitrary discounts. Generally any price reduction will lead to a corresponding reduction in the level or extent of consultancy services to be delivered. That said, our consultants always try to propose solutions which accommodate our clients'available budgets and timescales. Wherever possible, we agree our fees and the basis of charges clearly in advance so that we and our clients can plan reliably.

Payment

We aim to be as flexible as possible in the way that our consultancy services are charged. Some clients prefer fixed project fees, others with retainers, and our consultants try to accommodate the wishes of each individual client. Equally, we expect clients to treat us fairly and make payments in accordance with the agreed payment terms. Our terms are generally net monthly in arrears.

Intellectual property and moral rights

Resilience Guard GmbH retains the moral rights in, and ownership of, all intellectual property created unless agreed otherwise in advance with the clients. In return, we respect the moral and intellectual copyright vested in our clients'intellectual property.

Quality assurance

We maintain the quality of what we do as consultants through constant ongoing review with our clients of all aims, activities, outcomes and the cost-effectiveness of every activity. We encourage frequent review meetings and provide regular progress reports.

Professional conduct

Resilience Guard consultancy conducts itself professionally and with integrity. We take great care to be completely objective in our judgement and any recommendations that we make so that issues are never influenced by anything other than the best interests of our clients.

Equality and discrimination

We always strive to be fair and objective in our advice and actions, and we are never influenced in our consultancy decisions, actions or recommendations by issues of gender, race, creed, colour, age or disability.
